Hi everyone, I think I have figured this blogging thing out finally. I love being an online student. I have 3 girls one who is 7 months and one that is 3 and I get to spend time with them all day. I am not working, but online classes are great because by the time they get big enough I will have a degree and hopefully a good job. I love everything about the classes. I can do my work while they sleep or play, when I want to. I am kind of a shy person, and not being in a classroom where people are looking at you is really more comfortable for me. And I can say what I want and feel comfortable saying it. I really think the blogging thing is a really good way to communicate with other classmates, outside the discussion board. Here you can really talk about what you really want to talk about. The discussion board is a good form of communication, but this is a way to really express yourself.
I really enjoy it and hope to get to know everyone else a little better! :)

  1. Kimberly your girls are sooooooooooo cute!!! Was this their Easter picture? I am so glad you get to be with your three daughters and receive your education at the same time. Like you I love this virtual education. I was talking to a professor from the University of Washington and he said he has a class that has around 740 students. I cannot even imagine being in that classroom can you? I would run away in tears and go home as fast as my feet can carry me!!!

  3. Kimberly,

I love online college for the same reasons! I too am lucky enough not to have to work, so I can be home with my daughter (21 months) and my newborn son all the time. I love school, but without the opportunity to do it online I can't imagine how I would have been able to continue my education without sacrificing family.

  4. Hi Marie thank you. Yes this was their easter picture. 740 students is much to much for me. I passed school, and I enjoyed High School, but I can't even imagine being in a class again. This is the best thing they ever came up with. :) I think I would run as fast as I could too Marie. lol

  6. hi atinychaos, I know exactly how you feel. You miss so much time with your kids if you had to go sit in a class. this is the best thing they have come up with. Family is so important and to be there for your kids while you can is important I feel. Bye the way I like your blog name, it's cute.

  7. Hi Kim,

I wish they had online classes when I was a student because I would have preferred working online for all the same reasons. This is why I like teaching online. I love seeing your photographs of your beautiful family, and I do not mind others seeing my photographs, but that is okay. Having to dress for class every day and being physically in front of a room full of students is not my preference. I have been there and done that. I much prefer sitting here at Panera drinking coffee and typing in your blog!

Have you ever been to the hot springs in Truth or Consequences? I went last summer while my daughter and I were visiting Socorro. I do not know where Lovington is, but the hot springs are really worth visiting.
